In January 2013, Lori Korsmo looked out the large window of her Tacoma studio to Commencement Bay and commented:

Here I can slow down and see...the fog rolls in, burns out, clouds, rain, light...changes. I don't meditate in an organized fashion. I empty my mind of outside stimulus.
